                    Coughing earthquake in the nest…

My coughing quakes are still shaking me up and down. Even now I am coughing twenty times a minute while typing these lines. Lucky you are you cannot “get” my coughing infection via the Internet. :P Even if you beg me day and night about this great honour. :) Coughing loves me very dearly. Today I have again felt it. ;-)

My joy is short today but it does not make it unimportant: I am like a bird in the nest today and I’m really grateful for this! I’ve been staying in bed today, trying to keep myself warm. Winter is getting crazier and crazier here! It’s extremely frosty (up to minus 15C!) and is stormy here. My sleeping room is not as warm as it was a day ago (plus 20C!) but I’m lucky to have my two blankets! And…I’m happy to have my hero-friends – some orange flavoured lollipops! They at least make my cough to be “gentler” with me.

I hope I’ll be able to close my eyes this night. If I manage this hard job, that means I’ll have another reason of happiness of today! ;)

Stay warm there and away from my coughing friend! ;) And that also means – stay away from coughing Daria. :-P

P.S. I've almost forgotten to mention about my today's victory! One of my facebook friends thinks that my English pronunciation is understandable! He has announced me as a winner. I was reading a poem aloud (wow that was before I started to cough!) and my version is considered to be nice. I'm happy!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Be warm. Be safe. One of my Ukrainian friends says honey and lemon juice is good for a cough. I don't know. I hope tomorrow is good!

    1. Thank you so much, my dearest friend David! Wish so much you could be my grandpa, close to me, making me a cup of hot tea with lemon juice. ;) Your grandchildren are very lucky with you! I'm feeling a bit better. Last night I could sleep more or less okay.;) I hope I'll be as right as rain soon. ;)

  2. Hi Daria
You are always doing good things with your friends, that is great. I have no doubt at all about your good pronunciation. I am pretty sure that you deserve that prize. What’s more I am sure that instead of being a nice version, yours is the best one;) That is something I have always told you, that your voice is as clear as crystal water, and the best way to improve our English, listening, speaking and having fun with you.
By the way, Conchi usually makes lemon, honey and hot water as David has told you. That must help you to get better sooner.
    Take care and keep warm.

    1. My dearest Sergio,
      mi amigo,

Thank you a thousand times for your wonderful support! ;) Your message really lifts me up! I am feeling much better when I see how much my dear friends care about me.
My pronunciation is far away from being perfect and now my voice is a bit weird due to my constant cough but I am happy to practise my English with you. :)
Tell Conchi my great thank you for her nice tip! I have a lemon and honey, so I have no chance but to recover soon! ;)
      Take care there too!!!!

  3. Dasha, for me your English is perfect, like an angel speaking. If you don't feel better call a doctor at home, little angel can't be sick!

God bless you for your care and kindness to me. I am not an angel. :) But I'm happy and honoured to be your little Dasha. ;)
